This Agreement is a contract between you and Schaeffler Holding (China) Co., Ltd. with respect to Schaeffler Greater China marketing campaigns platform. Please read careful this registration agreement. Once you click the button "Agree and accept", this Agreement will constitute a legal document binding upon both parties.

By clicking the button "Agree and continue" on the page, you entirely accept this Agreement. Please read it carefully before clicking to make sure that you have fully understood all contents of this Agreement.

1. Confirmation and acceptance of service terms of this site

 1.1 Ownership and the right to operate all electronic services of this site rest with Schaeffler. User cannot become an official user of this site until he / she agrees to all terms of the registration agreement and completes the registration procedures. User shall confirm that: The terms of this Agreement are the contract for handling rights and obligations of the parties and are always effective.

1.2 Schaeffler provides the internet information and other services to users via the internet. User has no right to use underlying services of this site until he/she entirely agrees to this Agreement and the regulations of this site.

 1.3 By clicking to agree to this Agreement, User confirms that he / she has the capacity for right and conduct corresponding to browsing contents of this site, submitting participation demand, etc., and is capable to solely take legal responsibility.

2. Privacy protection of user information

2.1 Schaeffler knows well the importance of personal information to you and will exert all efforts to keep your personal information secure and reliable. Schaeffler is dedicated to protecting your personal information by complying with the principles of parity of rights and responsibilities, clear objectives, agreement based on choice, minimal sufficiency, security guarantee, subject participation, openness and transparency, etc. We have adopted security protection measures in line with industrial standards to protect the personal information you provide, protecting data from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage or loss. We will take all reasonable and realistic measures to protect your personal information. For example, data exchange between your browser and "Service" is protected through SSL encryption; in the meantime, we offer https secure browsing mode to Schaeffler; we will apply encryption technology to ensure data confidentiality; we will employ trusted protection mechanism to protect data from malicious attacks; we will deploy the access control mechanism to make sure only authorized persons have access to personal information.

2.2 The infrastructure platform is protected at corresponding level of information security, at the same time, following A3:2017 Sensible Data Exposure in OWASP, we store and transmit passwords and sensible data through encryption.  

2.3 Our capability for data security: complies with applicable national /international /industrial standards. All user data is transmitted by the HTTPS encryption mode. All unauthorized accesses are denied.

2.4 We will take all reasonable and realistic measures to ensure that no irrelevant personal information is collected. We only keep your personal information within the period required for accomplishment of the objectives described herein, unless the retention period needs extending or permitted by law.

2.5 The internet is not an absolutely secure environment, and e-mails, instant messages and other ways of communication with other users are not encrypted. We strongly advise you not to send personal information in such ways. Please use a complex password when you are using WeChat to assist us in keeping your account secure.

2.6 We will regularly update and disclose relevant contents of reports like security risks, assessment of impact on personal information security. You can obtain such information by following our official WeChat account.

2.7 The internet environment is not 100% secure. We will try to ensure or guarantee security of any information you send to us. If due to our fault, our physical, technical or management and protection facilities are broken to result in unauthorized access, disclosure, alternation or damage to information, and further result in damage to your legitimate interests, we will take corresponding responsibilities according to applicable law.

2.8 After a security incident of personal information takes place unfortunately, we will inform you without delay as required by laws and regulations of: Basic information and possible impact of the security incident, measures we have taken or will take for disposal, advice on your own protection and mitigation of risks, remedies to you, etc. We will inform you without delay of situations related to the incident by e-mail, correspondence, telephone, push notification, etc. Where it is difficult to notify subjects of personal information one by one, we will make an announcement by reasonable and effective means.

Meanwhile, we will actively report the disposal of the security incident of personal information as required by regulatory authorities.

2.9 If stipulated by laws and regulations or required by judicial authority or government department, we shall have the right to disclose your personal information we collect from this site to the relevant judicial authority and/or government department without noticing you.

3. Recording and use of data

 3.1 User shall honestly provide registered data to this site himself/ herself. User agrees that the registered data he provides is true, accurate, complete, legally valid. If there is any change in the user's registered data, he/she shall update such data in a timely manner. If the registered data provided by a user is untrue or inaccurate, he/she shall take corresponding responsibilities and consequences caused thereby, and Schaeffler reserves the right to terminate the user's use of the services of this site without taking any responsibility.

3.2 When a user submits the participation demand, browses or views meeting agenda, our site will keep confidential the user's privacy such as real name / title, telephone number, e-mail and participation demand. Schaeffler uses such kind of data only to better serve Schaeffler's marketing campaigns.

 3.3 User agrees that Shaeffler shall have the right to send prompting messages relating to conference/marketing campaign to users registered on the site in forms of telephone call, e-mail, short message, official WeChat, etc.

3.4 User agrees that Shaeffler shall have the right to use the user's registered information, etc., and perform data security of the user’s registered account, including but not limited to notarization, witness, etc.

4. User' obligation of words and deeds according to law and policy

4.1 This Agreement is made in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and rules of the country. User agrees to comply with the following obligations:

(1) Not to transmit or publish: statements inciting to resist or break implementation of the constitutional law, laws or administrative regulations, statements inciting to overturn state power or overthrow socialism system, statements inciting to divide the nation or undermine national unity, or statements inciting ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination or undermining ethnic unity;  

(2) Not to interfere with normal running of this site, not to invade into this site and the national computer information system;

(3) Not to publish any content infringing copyright, trademark right and other intellectual property rights or legitimate rights of this site;

4.2 This site shall have the right to delete all information and contents untrue or incompliant with laws or policies, without noticing users.

4.3 If a user fails to comply with the above provisions, this site shall have the right to make a judgment independently and take measures such as suspending or closing the user's account. User must take legal responsibilities for his / her words and deeds on the web.

5. Miscellaneous

 5.1 Schaeffler respects users’ legitimate rights. This Agreement and other contents published by this site are all aimed at better and more easily providing services to users. Users and all sectors of society are welcome to give advice and make comments. Schaeffler will make adjustments and amendments in due time.
